GuestApril 21, 2026 at 7:45 amPost count: 589468I’ve got a 2016 Sierra Denali that I use for hauling a small trailer for work and up until this year the AC has been absolutely freezing even in the middle of August, but the last few weeks it’s just been kind of cool at best and when I’m sitting in the midday traffic near the industrial area it almost feels like it’s not even working at all until I get moving again, and I already tried one of those recharge cans from the auto parts store which seemed to help for about three days before it went back to being mediocre so now I’m pretty sure there’s a leak somewhere and I don’t want to just keep dumping refrigerant into the atmosphere or pay some random shop to guess and replace parts that don’t need replacing. I’ve been burned before with a previous truck where they told me I needed a new compressor and it turned out to just be a bad pressure sensor connector, so I’m trying to be smarter this time and find a GMC AC Certified Workshop in Sharjah that will actually hook up proper gauges and find the real problem instead of just throwing the most expensive part at it. Anyone had a good experience with a local place that actually knows these GM trucks and won’t treat it like just another quick job, I don’t need a fancy lounge just someone honest who can diagnose a leak and maybe do an evac and recharge with the right amount of PAG oil without cutting corners.
