Honestly between work and the kids school runs I barely have an hour to myself these days let alone half a Saturday morning sitting in a dealership lounge pretending to enjoy stale biscuits while waiting for the service advisor to come back with a quote for something I didn’t ask for. My GLC 300 just ticked over the mileage for its annual oil change and I kept putting it off because the thought of the whole ordeal just drains my energy. There’s a place near where I work in Mussafah that looks promising from the outside but I’m always skeptical of anywhere that advertises itself as a Quick Mercedes Oil Change Center because in my experience quick usually translates to some guy with an impact gun over tightening the drain plug and forgetting to replace the crush washer. I just want somewhere that respects my time enough to get me in and out efficiently while still using the correct 229.51 spec oil and a genuine fleece filter, like is that really too much to ask for in this city. If anyone knows a spot where they actually stick to appointment times and you can watch the work get done in twenty minutes instead of two hours I’m all ears because my schedule is about as flexible as a snapped timing chain right now.
